Two payouts in two days!

I could get used to this! Yesterday I received email from paypal that mylot had sent me money and the day before I had received one saying that AC had done so. I am hoping to have more from more sites next month and I didn't even have to set up my own website to do it! I have been trying to spend more time writing and now I am finally getting around to it.

Right now I seem to be making a ton of money off of myLot.
I really want to get into writing articles but I'm so preoccupied with having 1-2 article deadlines for my Media Writing class a week that it is tough to do. Me running around doing interviews seems to be cutting into the time I spend on myLot as well.
Oh well... school is done in about a month so I figured I'll spend my time during the summer practicing my journalism skills using AC or Helium... not sure yet.

Based on my recent experience, I would suggest starting with AC because you will start earning right away as opposed to helium where you have to have 4 articles published to get your first rating star and start earning.
You could use one of your articles for class by putting a spin on it and revamping it. The articles only have to be 400 words and you wouldn't want to put too much into them for what little you will initially be paid anyhow.

Do they accept more area news though?
Because I know the one I just got done doing was a town council meeting and then today I have interviews with a business in town that has been here for 39 years to do a feature on how they are surviving.

You can submit the locally oriented stuff for payment via page views. When you submit things for upfront payments it takes them at least a week to get back to you and by then a news item may no longer be relevent or the information could be obsolete.
You might also post them to other sites that allow for previously published non-exclusive content.

I got performance payments from AC today for 2 months, not a whole lot, but $3 here and there is cool. I haven't written an article for them since September of 2007. Maybe I should do some more writing. :)
I am new to mylot also, and look forward to making a little while having lots of fun!

Well, that's cool that you haven't submitted an article in 6 months and are still able to get your payments from it. I just submitted a slide show to them of Mardi Gras photos that I am hoping will increase my page views.

Congratulations on your earnings.Always nice to see it hit your paypal account. I'm sure you have or close to making payout here at mylot since you have been a busy bee with your postings here. May you find even more sites to earn writing as well.

When I submitted my article to associated I asked for an upfront payment. I expected to have to wait but they paid right away.

the paypal account credited. Either it's abig amount or small that doesn't
matter. If we get paid for our work it gives us much happiness than anything.

Congratulations on reaching payout. I think reaching payout always helps to do better. Initially, I was very slow in posting discussions until I reach my first payout and this had motivated me to do better. I think it is great to get some extra pocket money from the sites like payout. I am also searching for some good sites through which I can earn some extra money.

Getting the payment always good because you have done some discussions and comments to that particular site for that one, they rewarded money to you.
Did you fell happy when you receive money? what is second payment in a day.

Keep up with your writing and you will get used to seeing those PayPal emails every month. It is always a good idea to have more than one source of online income. Then you get monthly payouts on different days from various sites.
Last year I was getting myLot payments every month. This year I have less time to post so I reach payout every few months, and it is always nice to have that little extra money.
I get paid on the 10th of each month by Helium, and I also earn a money for blogging, which is paid on the first day of the month. Affiliate commission and other occasional payouts can arrive at any time. Some revenue sharing sites pay out 45 days after the month you reach payout.
I don't qualify for upfront payments at AC so I focus on Helium, where I get upfront payments for all my new articles. I have more than 200 articles earning daily revenue there, and in some months I also get paid for Marketplace assignments.

What must one do to be eligible for upfront payments at helium? I am still trying to get the first writing star. I submitted my first AC article and asked for upfront payment and received an offer within a week, no hoop jumping involved.

Wow! That's great to have received 2 payouts in 2 days. I received $3.66 from NeoBux instantly after my request. I have also received $10 from AC for posting 5 poems. I have not yet reached my payout here on mylot.

I will have to go to AC and check out your poems. Have you tried accepting any myLot tasks? I have only done a few and so far only three have been approved but even a couple a month will help you reach payout. You should also subscribe to the myLot digest to locate more discussions to respond to.

Well done for your payments. You are lucky that AC pay you upfront, as I am from the UK I can not receive an upfront payment from them. How much did you get for your payment? Sometimes it is hard to get motivated to keep writing, but I am planning on trying to write more next month.

I am still new as well, but I was lucky to reach payout at myLot quickly and to receive a small upfront payment from Associated Content for an article.
