Do you think children should be sent to boarding schools?

I feel that in a day and age where families are breaking up, children should spend as much time as possible with their families. Besides, it is a great emotional strain for young children to be separated from their families and subjected to the routine of boarding schools.

No they shouldnt. Parents should take responsibility for their own children.

If a child comes from a loving, caring family, children should be assisted by parents on their personal growth and academics at home and are better off with traditional schools. However, a child would be better off sent to a boarding school if the parents lack parenting skills and are unable to support the well-being of the child.

No, I can't see the point in having children just to send them away to have strangers bring them up... and miss all the good innocent years of your children...
