Why do tears taste salty?

Tears are mainly made of water, oil, sodium becarbonate, baking soda, and salt. They are normaly salty because they derive from the circulatory system of about .9 percent.

First of all why did you taste your tears?Were you left alone in a jungle with only the trees & the wild animals?If that was the case then you defenitely would have cried.At the moment you would not have found the water to drink & instead drank your tears is it?hahahaha When tears are made up of all those components then it ought to be salty.
