Did you ever participate any protesting activities?

I just wonder if anyone ever participated any protesting activities? Today, in downtown Atlanta, a group of protesters gathered together, named themselves as "Tea Party" to protest the tax policy against the local government. It attracts many participants then.

I was a good girl and never joined a rally. My school was active but they didn't really require us to go. I'm really more of worried about what can happen to the people. I've seen police throwing gasses at people or hosing them with water EVEN if they weren't doing anything! I would rather watch it on the news.
