I have been wondering about these questions for a long time. Could someone shed some light for me?
Were there any other human during the time of Adam and Eve? It was said that they were the first man and woman and they had Able and Cain. Cain killing Able so Cain was cast out. How was it that Cain went on to marry his wife from another place? I understand that Adam and Eve went on to having more children, but does that mean Cain later married one his sister or their children? I am a bit confused. Hope I am asking the question in a way that you can understand.

wow! That's a queston we would all like to know the answer to! I think both scenerios are possible. Adam and Eve could have been the only one's on earth. They would have had to have born enough children and waited long enough for Cain to marry a sister. Or, God possibly made other people other placesonthe earth. My guess would be they were just not placed in the garden with Adam and Eve. It is also possible that He created more after Adam and Eve fell and were removed from teh garden.
Just some thought to help aid the discussion!

This has been asked so many times in the church and sometimes in schools. If the Bible said that Adam and Eve were the first man and woman, then that concluded there were second, third and so on, right? The Bible could have said Adam and Eve were the only man and human created if there were no other people then. We could notice though in the book of Genesis that only Adam and Eve lived in the garden of Eden. Unfortunately, the curse of sin committed in the garden became universal.
