Is it a good idea to sell makeup on ebay?

I 've watched a video on youtube.It's about Coastal scents 88 palette,people is crazy about the product,and it has lots of great reviews.Luckily I could buy low and sell high from that item,but I'm just wondering,if it's a good idea to start my makeup empire at this bad economy.
