I love to read and collect books. Most of the books that I have are old and has movie tie-ups that I have also watched. Usually the movies based on novels has some differentiations so its not actually the same as I have observed. The novels that I have read with movie tie-ups are:
Around the World in 80 Days
Journey to the Center of the Earth
Along Came A Spider
A Time To Kill
The Runaway Jury
The Client
Jurassic Park

I like reading books and watch the films too. I read and saw Chocolat, all the harry Potter books but obviously, since they are not all filmed yest, I haven't watched all the movies, The Da Vinci Code like you, Gomorra and a few others that I don't remember right now. Now I would like to read and watch Twilight. I agree completely with you when you say that Da vinci code was much better as a book than a movie. Actually the movie was terrible in my opinion.
