girl friends are like heroin.do u agree?

hi friends.well me and my gf were talking when out of blue i said 'u r like a heroin '(drug).she was caught off gaurd and asked y i said such a thing and i replied well i am pretty much addicted to u and whenever i take u in (through my eyes),my mind turns into a mesh.so was i right in comparing a girl to a drug?
