It is pronounced as 'cash',cache is a special high-speed mechanism.it can be a reserved section of main memory.Whenever some data requaires, the CPU first looks in the cache DEFENITION:The cache memory is a high speed memory available inside CPU in order to speed up access to data and instructions stored in ram.

Hi there! Cache in CPUs is like a storage area where the copies of data that are most frequently used are being stored. It is used to reduce the average time to access memory. Well, that's what I know about caches. Ciao!

I guess cache mean is for boost your performance, it can be part of data restore from memory or other device (example: Hard Drive, Disk Drive, CD-ROM Drive, etc). Everything in your computer using cache with limited size, it defend on your motherboard. You can see it put in your browser, connection, BIOS, etc for speed up your performance. Because the function is if your computer have same data in the cache then it will be read only from cache. And, if your computer doesn't have same data in the cache or your cache is empty then data will put in the cache from memory address. I suggest you always turn on your cache...

Hi, pratik87! I think a cache means cookies and privacy issues. Somewhere in this category. I may be wrong. But I have seen this term on the Internet under the Internet Connections tab. I hope that I gave you the right answer, if not someone will give you the correct one. I hope that it is alright with you, that I tried to answer this question to the best of my ability.
