Mohammad Kaif will not feature in the second edition of the Indian Premier League. Rajasthan team dropped kaif. Kaif only added , if any player among the team sustain injury, then he can join. According to me, recent performance of Md. kaif is not good at all. I think the team took the right dicission. What do think, the team management took right dicission.

I began to like Md Kaif after his wonderful innings with Yuvraj at Lords which India won chasing 326 runs in the Natwest Trophy final in 2002 (I hope the target is right). Just after the series, India went to play the Champions Trophy in Sri Lanka. I still remember that India was 5 wickets down in the first innings against Zimbabwe. Md Kaif played another wonderful innings and scored a century. I remember India posting a big total of 280+ runs. Then came a U-turn. Kaif did play some valuable innings here and there but not consistently. He was in and out of the Indian team. His IPL record in 2008 is very poor averaging 16 runs only. His contribution in the match against local South African Twenty20 champions this year is not worth mentioning. I feel that this poor show gave captain Shane Warne enough reasons to sack him from the team. Poor Md Kaif! I wish him all the best.

Hello friend, I came to know about this yesterday and I do believe that this is the right decision. Kaif, despite being a youngster, has not been able to deliver in the T20 format and I do not think Royals would be gambling on him too much. It shows how much eager they are to win this time. They did not mind dropping their most expensive player!
