Does this happen to you in case of studying?

Well my reading speed increases with the decrease in time for the examination. If I have long time before exam, even if I read, it becomes very slow and can't read more than few pages. But if it is exam time, or if I have exam the next day or two days ahead, then then I can read the most of the course in this time. But if the exam is few hours ahead and I have many thing to read, then again nothing goes into my mind... Does this happen in your case? Share your experience here...

Not only reading. I am no longer at school but whatever I am doing I have to do quicker as the time to complete it is running out. Like a meal for a certain hour. I will start preparing slowly but as the meal time gets nearer I speed up. At work too. I have to complete ceratin things before my colleague takes over at the end of my shift. As the clock ticks away when I start I have a much slower pace than when the last hour before his arrival starts. Must be psychological I guess

Hello mysdianait!!! So glad to get such a nice response for this thread which was left unanswered for a month. Yes, it is truly psycological. The same is the case when I have to do the projects. I would work out very slowly when I have enough time and when the there no more time remaining, then everything in haste. I guess, there are very few people in this world or may be no people at all, for whom this thing doesn't happen. My friends also complain me about this thing... Thanks for your response...Happy mylotting..

'm sure you watch football too. I watch some of the internationalmatches and notice the same thing happens. They start off slowly and then in the last 10 minutes try and play like they should have been playing all the rest of the game. p.s. I 'landed' here after reading your discussion where you said you still had some discussions with 0 responses
