Do you ask questions? - question

I think I've been doing this since I started here on mylot. I always end my discussions with a couple of questions in reference to it. I think asking questions makes it easier for people to respond to a discussion. If your just stating facts then what do I have to say in response? Do you ask questions when you write a discussion? Do you find you get more responses to them when you do?

I know all of my discussions that have had questions asked within in have been the ones that have done recently well. I do believe it is for the same fact you mentioned beforehand - it gives a person a question to answer. Otherwise you might just get answers like oh I'm sorry, or oh thats great! and in reality myLotters know that if you discussion isn't more than a certain number of lines you really aren't going to get anything from it.

Personally, I hate those responses that say 2 words...like "your right" or "oh yeah". Those people really don't know what mylot is about do they?

Not at all. And it is kind of upsetting people won't take a few moments just to go over the rules that myLot posts. And its not even like its in a format that you can't understand, that say things straight out and it explains that it is all about quality. I guess people nowadays are so focused on earning money that they don't look at the full picture and see what is the best way to go about doing so. I don't know how many discussions I see per day complaining about either responses/discussions being deleted or not making enough money.

i don't know if a discussion with question can gain more responses than a non-question one in reality when i open a discussion i can introduce the topic and yes in some cases i will post discussions to underline the point on the discussion in itself but i founnd some others that did not include a discussion but they were discussed as well..

Hi, ctrymuziklvr! Yes, I ask questions in my discussions. Mainly most of them all. I would like to know what others feel about my discussion. I would not want to just write without asking any questions at all.

I think I usually end my discussions with questions. I guess I do because it can help some people get into the discussion. Maybe have a jumping off point to have something to say and all that. I think it makes it easier for people to respond too. Even then though the amount of replies I get varies.
