So, what are you doing to get through this rut we seem to be in? Me, we have moved from a 5000sq ft. home into a whopping 982sq ft. home to cut down on house payments and utilities. Ok, really, we lost it. My husband and I both lost our jobs the end of June last year but have recently found new jobs. We have learned how to cut corners, live on less, and save as much as possible every month but it doesn't seem to be adding up very fast. I watched Suze Orman on Oprah a few nights ago and got some good ideas but most of them seem impossible. She did say something I would like to share with everyone, "be happy with what you HAVE, not with what you HAD". It made a lot of since but I feel like we have nothing. How can anyone be happy with nothing? Do any of you have suggestions you would share on different ways to cut corners and save? Oh, did I mention, we have 6 kids. We stopped eating out months ago but the 5 boys we have would eat anyone out of the house.
