For me, this would be Tuscaloosa Co., Alabama; particularly the Northport/Samantha/Tuscaloosa area. I met so many wonderful people there, the quality of living was decent, it was easy to shop and to find a job. It seemed that the standard of education and hands on learning was higher than any other school that my child has attended. Some of the architecture of the downtown areas of both Northport and Tuscaloosa I found to be fascinating, as well as the laid back attitudes of most of the residents. It will always hold a place in my heart.

I have lived in Finland as a children's nanny, been to Australia on a working holiday and studied in the Netherlands. In Australia it was my working holiday visa that made me move jobs quite often. I was allowed a maximum of three months with the same employer. I loved living in Sydney and it became my favorite city. I adored seeing the white sails of the opera house and the gray harbor bridge. I liked walking in the botanical gardens and there I met many friendly parrots.

I've always wanted to go to Australia.. Sydney and Daylesford in particular! I was reading the working visa requirements which have changed tremendously over the last 3 years and nearly messed my pants!

When I was little, we lived in Nevada. We were only about 60 miles from Las Vegas. I loved it there because when I looked out my windows or went outside, I saw beautiful mountains all around me. The air was fresh and the sky was clear. At night, the stars were so bright in the sky. I remember staring out my bedroom window plenty of nights looking st the stars. Being so close to Las Vegas, we went here a few times too, and that was a blast. I would like to go back to visit that area some day and take my kids up ointo the same mountains I got to explore as a child.
