Cut off extra fingers?

There's a real condition that produces more than ten fingers. If you had an extra finger on each hand, would you cut it off?

In our community, no body cuts extra finger. It is considerted to be lucky. Maidas touch? Just a superstition.

There was this kid in my old school that had 11 fingers, and he didn't think about cutting it off.
