What do you think about hanging a calender on the wall?

I have one hanging in my bedroom. It is better to watch different dates and events of the year. It also helps us to remember some upcoming events and even birhtdays.
It is not of the kind that we have to turn page every month but it is single page one which has all the months. It also has a nice picture of God.
I just remembered my friends birthday yesterday when I was watching it.
So just curious to know whether any of my fellow mylotters are also using calender on the wall or have it on there desk or table.

I dont hang a calender on the wall.I have an album of calender on the desk.It can be useful sometimes.I like to count days.lol

I am using
1 & 2 in my room
3 & 4 in my sister's room
So, in total we are using 4 calenders in our house. We are using a panchang calender too so that we can get to know more about Hindi months in an year. As you would have known that Hindi months are very much different than English, isn't it?

yes i too like to watch the dates in the calendar, actually i dont have a wall hanging calender , i have just made a calendar on my own , well it to 1 hr to make a calender but since im make it myself i can write there the importance of different dates , for example i can write there when r my exams starting , birthdays and many more things. well actually i don't want a ready made calendar for myself since they don't make me fell anything . maybe u can also try and make ur own calender with ur own feelings, and then when u will see it every day , u will fell very happy.

You must be a good artist to make it by your own.
It is good idea so that we can make it according to our requirements.
It might be really expressive as well so that you can watch it regularly I guess.

I have a calendar hanging in my kitchen and its marked up with work schedule for my daughter and birthday for the month or special occasions. I change the picture each month and its from the humane society so there are cute animals for each month. I like calendars alot. I just don't like how fast the year goes by especially when you get older.

It is good to know that your daughter uses it to plan her schedule.
Age will keep growing and calender will keep on moving accordingly.
It is also a part of our life.
