Mother's Day

I'm sure we all love our mother. I know I do. With Mother's Day just weeks away, I was wondering what kind of gifts does anyone of you give to your mom on this day. I seldom buy gifts for my mom on Mother's Day. To me everyday is Mother's Day and I buy gifts/things for her any day of the year. My mom is a very hardworking woman. Although she's now 64 she just can't sit still. Everyday she'll do some gardening or help out relatives who needs her help. She likes to be kept busy. She won't be so lonely if my dad was still around. My dad passed away 7 years ago. I still miss him a lot. With dad now gone, mom is the only parent I have and I love her very much. You don't have to wait for Mother's Day to show your mom how much she means to you. Treat everyday as a special day for her.

I of course still live at home and am always trying to find ways to help my mom. If it is just doing the laundry, cleaning the house, doing the dishes or something like that. Mom's always need help around the house since there is so much to always be done and they can't always do it by themselves and usually guys just like to sit around on the couch and watch TV. This Mother's Day i have no idea what we are doing yet, but its still a couple weeks away. I have already bought my mother in law a present and shes pretty easy she likes anything you give her. I did buy her a dolphin ceramic trivet and i know she is going to love it because she likes dolphins and its really pretty. I don't have anything but lotion for my mom so far for mothers day, but of course i still have to get her something else.

My mom is in her sixties now and she is just as hard to please now as she always was. She will pick out her own gifts and then return them. In fact, I have learned to not be offended when she doesn't like something I buy her cause that is just the way she is. I love my mother very much. I give her what she wants most, money haha. That way she can buy flowers for her yard since that is her biggest love. It's just much better than trying to please her :-)
