It's always intriguing to get into a series and see where it takes you but sometimes I find it nice to sit and watch a movie that you now is going to be totally resolved by the time it's over. You don't have to think about what's happening next week. So which do you prefer generally speaking TV series or movies?

hi, I love watching them both. Yes you are right , by watching movies, you can know what happened in the story for about 1 or 2 hours and you will know by that time the story, of how it ends and some scenes. But when you are watching a TV or Movie series, you will have to stay tuned in the series, because when you forgot or missed one episode you think you miss already what's happening. And by watching a series you have to wait long before you can know the end of the story. But I love them all, even though the series are very long to watch, but I love it.

I prefer watching a full length movie for entertainment rather than watching t.v. everyday for series of program that were divided into many episodes. Although watching it on t.v. gives you the well meaning of the story because it is well elaborated in terms of series.

I think it depends on my mood! I love NCIS and Law and Order Special Victim's. But I also love a good movie. Just last night my family watched "My Fake Fiancee" together. It was a cute movie with Melissa Joan Hart from Sabrina the Teenaged Witch and Joey Lawrence who was on Brotherly Love, Blossom and Gimme' a Break years ago!

I don't watch much of either, but would prefer to get it over with if I do. I am not interested in sequels. I want everything to happen NOW, lol.

I will say i like both.. haha =D Watching series is more time consuming though but the suspense is there.. Even though it meant not turn out as what we expect, but still it catches our attention well.. haha =D Movie is not bad too, but it's just too short, and before one can fully understand what's going on, it's finished.. hehe ^_^ Everything like plot and storyline might be a little hard to catch though.. haha =D

I definitely prefer watching movies rather than TV series. TV series just take too much time, and I don't think that I have patience to wait for it. Movies just simple, 1 and half hour or more, you can watch a great story.

I don't think I can choose one over the other. It seems to depend on how much time I want to spend watching movies. You see most nights my family only has an hour or two to spare because we are in the middle of moving and that takes up a lot of our time. It is in this time that we watch a movie that has an ending. This lets us see what is happening all the way through without wondering what is coming later in the collection. There are nights that are set aside to watch series. This is called marithon nights. We get together with popcorn or some other treat and enjoy several tapes in a row. One night we may watch a full season of a television show. Then another time we might watch all three of the Borne Identity movies. There are still other nights that we watch a Star Trek Series. My husband is a big Trekie. I personally like the nights we watch myster shows like Murder She Wrote, or Perry Mason. These shows are more to my likeing but the family likes the action flicks more so I usually watch what they want. This just shows that I like both venues and do watch both ways. I think most people would say that they like both but it just depends on how much time they want to spend in front of a television screen. Personally I can not wait for movie night to start up again after we move. I do miss the special time with my family.

Generally speaking, I prefer TV series. It is a good way to kill time. I think a movie is too short, but the director wants to tell too many things in such a short time. The result is they movie producer do show many things to us in their movie, but all things is not in detail or not clear enough. So most of time, we may have something unclear about the movie itself after we watch it.

I love movies but some series are worth going back and starting at the beginning, just in case you started in the middle.

yeah, series do tend to leave me hangin' in the end. When it gets to a good part the show ends with tune in next week to find out what happens! And movies will resolve the story. Then again, if the movie was really good, and made alot of money then the story will continue on. The movie will become a bigger version of a series. Example, batman, startrek, hallween, friday 13th, etc.

I prefer a movie or the kind of TV shows where , even if the main characters remain the same, the story ends the same day. I never watch soap operas because I know I will not watch them every day.
