What could you but with a dollar in your country?

In the UK at the moment the US dollar is worth about 0.67p. This would be enough to buy a tin of soup or 2 apples, so not a lot. What could you buy with it in your country?

Exchange rate for $1 to IDR is about IDR 11000. With that amount you can buy your lunch. Or you can buy a comic book. Or buy a cheap discounted Tshirt. You can buy about 10-11 pcs of eggs or almost 2 kilograms of raw rice.

Wow - so it really is worth your while participating in sites like Mylot. You can enjoy and earn a reasonable amount at the same time.

Here in the Yucatan, Mx . I would probably buy a torta and coke for lunch . Wait I got that wrong , maybe a torta and half a coke , lol ..

With one USA dollar, I could by one of the options below: Ten bags of roman noodles soup Two cans of either beans/corn a variety of selections on the McDonalds dollar menu All kind of choices at the Dollar Tree store Although I would have to walk or ride my bike because one dollar won't buy me a gallon of gas :-)
