Colorado Woman Arrested After Allegedly Taping Boyfriend's Dog to Fridge

BOULDER, Colo. — Police say a Colorado woman wrapped her boyfriend's dog in packing tape and stuck the animal upside down to a refrigerator because he wouldn't get rid of it.
Abby Toll was arrested Tuesday after police say she got into a fight with her boyfriend. She was charged with felony cruelty, drug possession and other counts and is free on $12,500 bond. She has declined to comment.
Toll's 21-year-old boyfriend, Bryan Beck, faces lesser charges including a misdemeanor cruelty count.
Police say Toll, 20, used packing tape to bind the legs, snout and tail of Beck's dog, Rex, a Japanese breed called a Shiba Inu. She told police she stuck the dog to the refrigerator because she was angry Beck wanted to keep it.
Rex was taken to a shelter and will be put up for adoption.

That poor innocent dog! I wish I could take him to live with my family, he deserves so much better than what that horrible evil c**t did to him! I pray that Rex is placed in a good loving home and never has to suffer ever again. I wish I could go tape that bytch Abby Toll upside down to a roadway underpass so she could get hit every time a truck passed. Let the punishment fit the crime! I can't recall ever really wishing ill on a person, but with all my heart I wish for nothing but bad things to happen to Abby Toll for all the rest of the days in her miserable waste of a life.
Poor Rex! I truly hope he is able to be placed in a good and loving home where he can put the horrible abuse he suffered behind him.

Aww that's so sad. She should be taped upside down in prison for her term. What the heck is wrong with people? If I didn't like my boyfriends dog, I wouldn't go to his house. If I lived with him and didn't like it I would simply move out.
Do you know why the boyfriend is being charged?

Why date someone at all if you don't like their pet? If a man I dated didn't like my animal friends, he wouldn't be dating me. I don't know why he's charged, maybe for not stopping that evil bytch from doing what she did?

This is terrible. I really hate how people think it's OK to terrorize animals or children because they're not capable of taking care of themselves or defending themselves as easily as adults and people can. I also can't understand how they never understand why they are in the wrong and why the act was wrong to begin with.

It infuriates me. Especially the fact that the punishment never fits the crime. True justice would only be served if these horrible people were made to suffer the way they made their victims suffer. What I wouldn't give for five minutes alone with Abby Toll.

That is terrible. Cruelty to animals shows something is psychologically wrong in the person. I don't mind butchered animals for food because those aren't done for fun - but to hurt and to kill for no reason is unreasonable.

Wow, that's sad on so many levels. I hope that guy has enough sense to not be with that woman anymore. There is something definitely wrong with that woman if she did that to the poor dog just because her boyfriend wanted to keep it. I have little thought for people who are like this.

I have no idea what the fruck is wrong with people. You better believe I hope karma gets her back and she suffers some kind of abuse. I had posted a discussion about how YouTube should monitor videos that are placed there. There are all kind of videos put up there blatantly showing animal abuse and people thinks it's funny to do so. The most "famous" case was a sicko kid named Kenny Glenn who video taped himself torturing and abusing Dusty the cat...irate YouTubers not only flagged and reported the video, but one smart member managed to track Glenn down. He was arrested and Dusty actually survived the ordeal...you can see the whole thing here, including a video of how Dusty is doing now....she's been put up for adoption

This is another news of cruelty inflicted on the animals.
People can sometimes be cruel. Animals are human beings too.
They are alive and breathing. The only difference is that they
can't talk to express their feelings and emotions. We are much
more lucky but it doesn't meant that we will treat other living
things with cruelty.

I can see why you're very enraged about this issue. You're passionate about animals and their welfare, aren't you?
I agree with you saying that the punishment should fit the crime. That poor dog can't even speak English or think like we do, yet he gets this traumatic experience in return. How heartless this woman is, and wrong as it may be I'd like to kill her too. Or maybe I just want to put some brains into that empty mind of hers, just so she can think that animals aren't meant to be hurt! We have pet dogs are home, but we don't abuse them or anything like that. We love them.

it is sad to see people punish animals for their personal issues which they can't handle, its a common sight now to see animals being punished for problems their owners have, like 2 months ago when a women din't feed her cat for 2 weeks cuz her boss fired her.
we should leave the animals and handle our own problems, some find others having pets irritating and when they can't ask those persons to get rid of them, they punish the poor pet beacuse they know it won't talk back or fight, why??? common ppl don't be so cruel!

Oh my God she's sick! A Heartless b*tch. I wonder how was she able to withstand what she has done. Taking revenge by taping his dog and putting it in a refrigerator is a work of a psycho. I just hope Rex is in a good condition right now. Poor dog.

I hear this yesterday, on the news and thought, what a selfish girl who obviously has some psychological issues that ought to be addressed.
The pain I feel for the dog and the boyfriend. Sad for the dog for the boyfriends bad choice of woman.

I think she should be taped up naked, so that her hair is stuck in the tape, and stuck to MY refrigerator. I would whack her everytime I passed by. Then we would move her to YOUR regrigerator. And whoever wants her next can sign up. She is a terrible waste of skin as far as I an concerned. I only pray that someone adopts her boyfriend's dog that will love it and care for it as it deserves.
