Does it really even matter?

What did she say about me? Is he looking at me? Why don't they like me? Do I look fat in this? Do you ever ask why it even matters? Why do we care so much about what other people think?

Well, it's the human condition to care, although some people do not. We don't want people looking at us and thinking there is something wrong with us or somehow we don't look right. In my personal experience though, the people who pick us apart are the ones who have the most to hide. They are generally trying to deflect attention from themselves by making you the topic of conversation. You forgot one - "Does this body make me look fat?"

Good question. Every time I think I don't do it anymore, I find I have gotten worse. I wish I did not care so much about what other people think. Why? I don't know. Just somehow I do care. Low self esteem I suspect? Take care, have a nice evening.
