My keyboard number keys are not working!

Hello dear friends! I have bought a new keyboard from computer market today. The keyboard looks very nice. This is black in color. It is a multimedia keyboard. But I have facing a problem. All the alphabet keys are working very nicely. I have no problem while typing with these alphabet keys. But when I am pressing the number keys, nothing is typing. The number keys are not working. But my keyboard is new. I am very much confused. I am thinking what I will do this time. Do I need to change the keyboard or you have any suggestion for me? Is this problem for any virus or what? Please help!
