Is you are among them who think that the person who throw shoe on politicians are doing right thing. Is this thing is appreciated or punished. Become politician is very big thing in itself, is they deserve this type of behaviour from the citizens of country. Is this is the easiest way of protest or it is way of making news for any general man. Politician are asking for vote because this thing is in system of democracy. Overall they are asking because they have to run country according to the wish of citizens. But instead of giving votes citizens giving shoe to them. Is this thing convey wrong message to Indian democracy. Share here your opinion about way of protesting for general people. Or your opinion about this shoe throwing scandal.

The shoe throwing drama started when that Iraqi journalist threw a shoe at George Bush, the most powerful man on earth then. What a way to protest! Since then, two Indian politicians were shoed. I don't know if it is the right thing or not but it is a good way to protest, a way to tell the politicians that no more lies will be accepted, no more fooling the public. It is a way to tell all politicians that they have to deliver the goods or the hell with them.

exactly neeraj!! u r absolutely rite. politicians r d persons who represents us n in return v r givin dem shoes, it is really bad. if anyone wants to protest, dere r many ways by which he can do so like print, press media r also available to dem.. i think jarnel has brought down our democracy. n after throwing shoe he was giving interview dat othrs should nt do so, he thinks dat he is d only person allowed to throw shoes on politicans. what a bad impression jarnel gave to our indian society n he is not known dat othrs can also follow him n it happend so. i respect congress n chidambaramji dat dey did not make any political issue n after throwin shoe by jarnel how decently chidambaramji asked d security to take jarnel easily.....

Those shoe throwing scandal is common in those Middle East nations before. But now it is becoming very popular in a democratic nation like India. It is very hard to believe these politicians. And when elections are knocking at the doors, probably all these shoe throwing incidents are a got up case. These are just publicity stunts and a part and parcel of the campaigns. They just want to receive the sympathy of the voters. It is true that they can do anything to get votes!! Its hard to trust these guys.

I am happy that at least someone has the courage to throw the shoes at these so called corrupt politicians. All the false promises they make in thier speeches prior to the elections just invites the attention of the shoes from the public which I fully agree. They do nothing to the country & to the constituency they stand & win.So why they be let off like that? I think its one of the better ways to protest against them.Atleast they will mind what they say the next time.

it's kind of an extreme way of getting your point across,but..at the same time,i think it's hilarious.if they punish it,should really only be something like community service.that's not a jailable offense in my opinion, that's just hurting the politican's pride more than anything else. god knows there's a few times i would have loved to have thrown a shoe or two at some american leaders, but i'd probably be jailed for assault.
