This is a question for all those who are lovers of desktops. Do you keep your CPU cabinet open? I had to keep it open thee days because it is extremely hot here. I daily use computer for over 10 hours. And also as I am in a hostel, it feels cool to show off that you are a computer genius by showing some of the internal parts of your PC. so what's your story? Do you also keep....

If you are referring to the tower, yes that stays open out. It has a fan on the back of it. It blows as the computer is on. That is always out in the open. It gets hot so, I let it be exposed to air. It is never covered up.

Hi cream(my mouth is filled with water at such a creamy name and i will surely eat a cake today hehehe) I was referring to the computer case. CPU is a chip that is mounted on your mother board that does all the processing. But generally people refer to the box that has all the components like motherboard, hard disk etc. as CPU. I still have a old monitor but I have bought a new CPU. I will soon take a flat screen monitor the day I get my first payout from here. Happy mylotting!

You mean the actual PC tower itself, if we keep that open. In the summer here I bought a fan just for the tower, it helps. Still on those days that it goes over 100 degree's here I open the side of the tower so the fan can cool it better. We don't have air conditioning here, that is why the PC tower gets its own fan..lol
