Internet Adapter

I have something that may be similar, a wireless USB modem(HSDPA/3.5G) with SIM card but right now I'm using my phone as a modem. I have postpaid plan with a telco here. The pros: - I can use it to access internet everywhere, it covered almost all over my country. - No time limits - Broadband speed - If there is no 3.5G, it will use GPRS instead. - The modem have its own software/driver built-in inside. It will install on first time connected. The firmware is upgradable. If you use a phone as a modem, you need to install driver from the provided CD. - It's stable, most of the time. The cons: - The modem not really good, it cannot receive enough signal, sometimes it went down to GPRS or EDGE. The newer version should be better. Because of this I use my handphone, it's better but the battery will drain if I download a large file. - Limit to 5GB/month/user for fair usage. - Only certain places have broadband. - Can't reach full speed. Today we have WiMAX, 4G wireless broadband (42 times faster than dial-ups). WiMAX is still new in my country and it's not cheap. They have new modem with up to 10Mbps speed.
