Ciao announcement on 17th april see it

that's sad..even the greatest paid site that we have is now gone and wont trust us anymore..if only people will stay honest and wont always try to cheat then this paid sites will continue to trust and pay us..what a waste..somehow we cant blame them for doing this..

Unfortunately the actions of the majority have led to the minority members also being banned from certain countries. People who were publishing poorly written reviews were so pathetic that they couldn't take honest feedback so went about giving revenge ratings, instead of trying to improve their reviews and too many people were just copying chunks of text from other sites and trying to pass off as their own and never mind the fact that people were sending friends requests to people randomly without having even read or rated any of their reviews and asking to be added to their COTS and asking for ratings. If people are looking to blame if their country has been banned, look to blame the HUGE number of cheats from their country that made Ciao take the action they eventually had to take. Still I'm seeing people on a daily basis writing and submitting a load of rubbish and they're obviously getting into the site through some back door and doing the same nonsense that got their whole country banned in the first place.

I too heard about the announcement.Are the people from india banned also?Should we send payment to ciao regarding payment? or Ciao will send us the payment?

thanks for your info. my account has already banned by ciao. i don't know the reason because most of my friends' accounts banned many days before mine.

Yeah, it was really true here in Philippines log in is not possible,same as the other country base on the other ciao members that i been ask bout the site,and i mean it! it was so disappointing!!! for me it was very unfair because i was been a good member and i never cheat, and the sad thing about it i still have $90 that's waiting to be request and my fear is what if i could not get the money that ive been working for????

Yes that is true, till now there were just rumors going on, but now they have officially announce the same. This is really very sad to know, I am also from one of the country which is in their banned list. But I was unable to find the list of banned countries in their announcement. Assuming that who ever is facing the problem in logging on the site, that country is banned. Now worried about the payment from their side for the month of March. Just hoping for the best.

But I would say that its simple Not fair to Ban the Whole Country for mistake of some group of People/members. If it is True that they are Banning access of those countries from where spamming,vindictive rating reported, then I would say that while Participating in ciao I have made a List friend which have crossed 1000+ and I have found Lot of my friend got there account banned due Spamming, Copying, and etc... and Let you know the friend How got Banned from the Sites more other countries and a less number from Asian countries, Then why to Give more stress on Asians countries only....So Now I would say that CIAO is just disappointing its members for No reason...
