Spenser or Clark?

Which actor you like more, Spenser Tracy of Clarck Gable.I prefer Spencer Tracy. Spencer had more dept and showed more emotions on screen. Besides Spencer played arrogant less than Clark, For me Clark made me want to deck nim. I never saw him as the romantic lead even in Gone With The Wind.But I did like Clarck in Mogambo. On the other hand there are too many Tracy roles that I love to list here, How about you? Which actor do you prefer?

Thanks for your tesponse. I thought I was alone. I always had the urge to slap Clark every time I him except in Mogambo. have you seen this film?

if you wanted to deck him, that is great that was his role and he played it well so well you thought it was real,
I love clark cable, I love both of them but clark more, I loved that devilish grin he had.

I prefer the real feelings I feel Spense had to Clark's arrogance.When it comes to devilish grins, how about jack Nicholson?

Actually I don't know them very well. But at least I know Clarck Gable because of the movie Gone with the Wind. Since I don't like men who have the mustache or beard, so I won't vote for Clarck Gable for this discussion:)

Spenser Tracy rarely had any facial hair. Do you have a DVD rental place? If so, look for the movies Inherit The Wind and Woman Of The Year. The firat is a court drama and the second is a romantic comedy. And you can see both gguys in the movie San Francisco, a movie about the earthquake in 1906.If you get to see Spencer, let me know

I also think that I have seen more good movies by Spenser Tracy than by Clark Gable. But the role Gable played in Gone with the Wind was more than enough to become immortal as al actor. I think TRacy never had a rol in a picture as important as that one. So it´s difficult to say.

can think of 4 roles Spencer played that were just as important as Gone With The Wind. he was the lawyer for the school teacher accused of teaching evolution in Inherit The Wind, He was the judge in Judgment At Nuremberg. He Was the father in Guess who's coming To Dinner . And he played the one arm man who comes to town in Bad at Black Rock.
