I would like to be in contact with other guitar players here, to share ideas and discuss about our favorite instrument. In short, I've been playing guitar for more than 30 years. I stopped after a stupid accident 5 years ago, but I'm very enthusiastic about resume my playing. What guitars do you play (acoustic, electric), what styles do you prefer to play? Tell me yor stories with the guitar and I'll be sharing mine.

I play the guitar too... When I was young I was playing as fast as I could just to impress... but now that I'm already in my 20's, I approach the guitar differently. I now play blues, blue grass, some flamenco and finger style. Should have done it years ago though..

I'm from Wales in the UK & have been playing guitar for about 25 years. I like Rockabilly & Country picking a lot on either electric or acoustic. I do also like Jazz & blues, I find learning a good variation helps the musical palette & opens you up to new ideas. I play a Gretsch Nashville 6120 & a Crafter Acoustic but it's only recently I got back into playing after a few set backs in life seriously effected my enthusiasm. Regards Jay

I play guitar. I've been playing for about 8 years now but I just treat it as a hobby, although I really wanted to play in a band. I also write my own songs by using this instrument. And yeah, it's my favorite one then the drums and bass guitar.

I have been playing the guitar for 20 years, starting at age 17. I very much prefer to play acoustic rhythm guitar, as I have never been good at lead. I have gone through many guitars in the past, and I currently have a Fender acoustic that I enjoy very much.

Hi There, I'm from Melbourne, Australia, and I play electric guitar. I currently have a Gibson SG, but would love an ESP or JACKSON V. I play metal mostly, but some rock too. I've been playing for 13 years. :-)

Hello aefrosa. I used to learn how to play guitar when I was in my early twenties, but I did not learn it for a long time after I started to feel painful in the fingers while playing the guitar. Though I gave it up, I love to watch and listen to guitar players singing while playing the guitar, which is an enjoyment to me. I hope that you will resume your playing the guitar soon. Thank you for being my friend, aefrosa. Take care.

hey, im from melbourne australia, i personally prefer electric guitar because i dont own an acoustic, and the few times i have tried to play an acoustic guitar i find it more difficult than the electric guitar. (also the electric guitar makes better sounds) i dont really have any stories to share for i have only played for a year.
