Ban on Computers??

there was a political party in india which wanted to implement a ban on use of computers in the country as a part of its election manifesto...wat is ur take on this ??
i personally feel a political party whose trying to drag a country back into the stone stage should be banned from contesting elections...especially wen its general secretary has a few cases pending against him!

I think that would be a form of control of the people, almost like a huge cendorship of the people, the internet is a wonderful source of knowledge, any political party who wanted to put restrictions in that area I feel is a part to be very scared of...

yea i agree...wat their take in their manifesto was that people in rural india have started loosing their jobs because of the automation that comes along with...so by banning comupters all over the country they wanted to give jobs back to the people ( wtf ??) :O
