Share Ideas about spending less or making more money

Can you help me with suggestions on how to either spend less money or make more money so we can live within our means. Everything is so expensive so I try to cut back and still have a wonferful life. I look out on the web to make money and all I see are advertisements that want me to send them money to tell me how to make money. Help!! What are you doing to live within your means? How are you making money on the web, besides myLot???

One way that I have been saving money is by using coupons when I eat out. I have, also, tried eating out less. But, with my "on the go" sometimes it's hard to not eat out at all. So, I find coupons, especially online, for my favorite restaurants. A lot of them have special offers (with or without coupons), I believe, due to the economy. So, take advantage and still treat yourself to a meal cooked by someone else.

Never buy your grocery in an empty stomach or you are starving. Chances are you will end up buying more junk food, more than what you need.
As much as possible pay in cash. Do not use credit card. Credit card are for emergencies only. Example: no ATM available

Although you are in the US, many tricks and tips apply where ever you are. I regularly look at this site http://www.moneymagpie.com/make-money/ and, so far, I haven't found a counterpart in the US or elsewhere. Of course, a lot of the information is directed at UK savers but anyone would do well to look at their money-making ideas and also their Smart Spending section.

I think it is better to spend less money because it is hard to make money. Money saved is money earned. I have seen life of lots of people who are earning huge amount of money and they don't have any money saved because they spend lots of money. I am working as a medical transacriptionist and I also spend lots of time in the net working through different sites like myLot to earn some extra money to support myself.
