I really wanted to know the truth. Scientifically, who is smarter? I got lots or girl classmates that are so smart but whenever some of us boys who are smarter steps in, they like disappear... Thus that mean that boys are really smarter...???

If you are talking specifically then either on can besmarter. If you are in Generalities then there are some things that Boys are better at than girlsandsome things that girls are better at then boys. It has been proven that females have more color receptors in the brain and can see shades of colors that males can not distinguish. Females also have more receptors in the brain for language and verbal skills. Men tend to be stronger physically and there is some research to show tht males are better at analysing and reasoning than females. This is in general tearms and there will always be specific examples to point out the exception.

I don't think there's really a one or the other kind of answer. Girls and boys are different in certain areas, and every person is different. Here's an article that talks about the differences of each gender. http://www.webmd.com/balance/features/how-male-female-brains-differ I've heard that IQ wise, men and women are generally about the same, but men are more likely to have a very low IQ OR a very high IQ, than Females. Not in the same person, of course. Females don't have as great of a variation with their IQs. But I've heard IQ tests are based more on male brains, so it's not completely fair to females. I read this: "But since the men and women achieved similar IQ test results, researchers concluded that the different types of brain architecture lead to comparable intellectual performance. In short, men and women take different paths to reach the same intellectual threshold." If you ask me, I would say that boys are probably smarter, but I don't think they usually apply themselves as much as they could... especially when they're school aged. I think girls usually like doing the work... or at least feel better about what they'll get from it... more than boys. Most boys I know would rather be outside playing contact sports, than sitting in a desk, doing paperwork :P There are exceptions, of course :) Maybe the girls in your class(es) like the feeling of standing out, and when a few others stand out too, it kind of lowers their ambition. Or if it's more than a few girls, maybe they feel like the competition is more boys against the girls, than everyone for themselves, and that's why they fade into the background more when you guys speak up.

Thanks for the information. Well, you're really right. Most of the boys go outside just to play while the girls remain in the room to study. But, nowadays, we don't really play because we don't want our shirts to be wet. Thanks for the info...

I don't believe there is really any difference. Girls mature faster than boys do. They both learn differently. That is a good reason for having separate classes for them. Then boys would be more willing to speak out in class. girls are supposed to be better in language skills and fine motor skills. Boys are supposed to develop math and geometry at an earlier age. I think it all evens out over time.
