Is long hair outdated?

I have my hair almost down to my waist and it is lightly layered,I'm wondering if long hair is outdated,If I were to cut it, I would consider something like this: http://www.aolcdn.com/red_galleries/haley-bennett-match-400a080207.jpg the person is Haley Bennett if you wanted to see a better picture.

_it depends on person and the people around her. _my friends used to know me as a school-girl with a dora the explorer-like hair do. _but when i tried something different like having a long hair, for them it's new. _trying something different sometimes makes people think you are a certified stylista. LOL ;)

I don't think long hair is outdated. I have a long hair ever since I was in college, I don't like short hair because it makes me look so weird.LOL!So I always sport a long hair and keep it layered all the time. Besides, most guys love long haired girls because they find it very feminine and very modest.

I don't think long hair is outdated. I see a lot of females where I live that have long straight hair. My hair used to be down to the middle of my back but I have had short hair for years now. I tried growing it back out a few times but I seems to get more in my way once it reaches a certain point and it drives me nuts so I end up getting it cut back up. Right now I have an A frame bob cut with longer chopped layers in the front. The back is cut up shorter and my sides are about down to the middle of my neck. A lot of people seem to be going with that look lately. It is called the Victoria Beckham look. I think the look you have is really close the only difference is the back is cut up way shorter on the "Victoria Beckham" look. This look also seems to be easy to maintain, doesn't take long to fix and gives that bouncy care free feeling.
