If you don't have kids, do children bug you? I used to hate going out to eat and people had their kids there and they were obnoxious and loud. The restaraunts weren't really family restaraunts and I still to this day (even after having two children of my own) do not understand why people would take their child or children to a restaraunt that is designed for kids. I am sure for the romantic couple this would be a good form of birth control. What do you think? Should people take screaming kids to restaraunts that aren't family oriented?

you know, even the places that are kid friendly are just way too loud to begin with. So those places bug me, kids or no kids. I like a little quiet when I go out to eat.

@inertia4 That's actually funny because I am someone that likes quiet all the time. My kids are even quiet. Places that are loud bug me. Like you kids or not.

@inertia4 That is true. Restaurants should be a low hum of people talking. Not screaming from every table

@mommaj For me, there is a time and a place for loud. I love loud music, so, the mood has to be right and the time has to be right. Then I don't mind. But going out to eat, people want to be able to have a conversation, and with all that loud noise, who could talk.

OH MY GOSH. You just described me, totally. It seems like I'm always put in situations where I have to stand in line next to screaming kids and crying babies. This alone is probably the most effective birth control for me. . Not that I hate kids or anything (and I'm sure there are many merits of raising kids) but MISBEHAVING kids are the WORST! Especially when you're stuck next to them in such a public setting as a restaurant or a grocery store. *sigh*. I know kids can be adorable and cute..But misbehaving kids just totally turn me off of EVER having kids. lol.

Sometimes kids can be hard to deal with. I have two that I think are just the most adorable but I can tell you when kids hit five or six they get into a stage that they repeat what you say and constantly yak! Sometimes I wish I had hearing aids just so I could turn them off! LOL My kids are really good and I believe most kids are. Sometimes they just don't know how to act in public and the parents don't even bother correcting them.
