I have tried many creams and ointments to combat diaper rashes in the delicate skin of my baby. However, what I found most effective is petroleum jelly. Try applying generous amount on the skin before putting on the diaper. I guarantee, it is 100% effective. I have been using it for months already. It is a lot cheaper. And does not contain harmful chemicals. See it for yourself!

I had two babies. With the first one I used all kinds of expensive treatments that the doctor gave me. Nothing! So I asked my granma and she said: olive oil. I did and no rash at all. And it´s very unexpensive too.

There is this gel or ointment that our doctor has precribed us for use. I just forget it and it was also quite effective for him since it seldom occurs in him during his diaper days. Now my only son is a big seven year old boy already. This we do not need diapers for him now and is a happy boy right now.

I don't have a child, but I heard something about a cure for diaper rash and I wanted to run it by an actual mother. Have you ever tried putting corn starch in the diaper to get rid of diaper rash? I heard that on television a long time ago, and wondered if that truly did work.
