Our wedding was different from most it was planned from my hospital bed. I was very sick and in the hospital when we decided to tie the knot. I had so much help from my friends and the groom was the most helpful of all. We talked constantly back and forth on the phone and planned everything. The nurses even helped me get a leave of absence for the weekend. My family and friends pulled everything else together the food, decoratations and even an interm bridal coordinator who made sure everything was perfect. The hardest part of the whole weekend was going back to the hospital without my new hubby.

Very interesting concept indeed. I do hope I could see some picture since I have no idea how it was done. Anyway are you still sick? Whay would you stay further in the hospital?

The funny part is we had planned several times in the last 17 years to get married but something always came up and derailed the wedding. At first it was my diagnosis of MS. Then all of my hospital stays interferred, then financial problems, and car problems. On New Years Eve from my hospital bed we decided on May 3, 2008 at 2pm we would do everything in our power with a of prayer to make it come true. This month our 1st anniversary is coming up.

How long did you have to stay in the hospital, after you were married? I think it was absolutely wonderful how your family and fiance and friends pulled together to make sure that you had the wedding of your dreams. that's definitely love in action. It sounds like you had a wonderful wedding.
