Hi, just wana know if there is a difference between these cards. I understand that in order to get a paypal account one has to have a credit or debit card. I think its important that the card is connected to either Visa or Mastercard right? I have a Smart Money card and it has a Mastercard electronic logo on it, does that mean I can use it to apply for paypal? or maybe the BDO/BPI cash cards, these are considered debit cards right? so can I use them for paypal? Also many of the ATM cards now can be used to pay for purchases in grocery stores, so can they be considered debit cards too? I think the only difference is they dnt have the Visa or MAstercard logo on them. Please help us. Thanks!

really? I tried using my smart money to verify my paypal but it was rejected. I am not sure if they have already changed the system since the time that I got my paypal. So are you able to withdraw your paypal money to your smart money card?

only smartmoney account starting with 5299 is accepted in paypal if your smartmoney account start in 5577 then you cannot use it to verify your paypal account.

you can use other debit cards but i think they have additional fee whenever you withdraw so better apply for eon card.

These cards can be used to apply for Paypal, but I am using a debit card, because it more convenient money, and do not pay interest.

All of these are also debit cards, but for some reason, paypal was rejecting my smart money card so I had to resort to using my credit card to verify my account. thanks for the suggestion
