Why do you think most old maids and bachelors are hot headed?

I'm not saying all of them are, but it seems most are. I figured that perhaps it's because of the lack of love and caring their lives. I have recently broken up with my love of 4years and it's really eating me up right now. My siblings often told me that I seem to be hot headed these days (they didn't know we had broken up because I didn't want them to worry), my youngest brother even commented that I was really different. I am unusually quiet these days, I sleep earlier than usual, and I tend to bite back and am overly sensitive. This brought about my theory on why single people (mostly matured ones) tend to be hot-headed. Perhaps it's because of the lack of someone to show them they're important and they're loved. Yes, there may be friends about, or relatives, but at the end of the day, when you find yourself alone and everyone else has their own lives, you find yourself lost. You want to share a joke or two with someone but there's no one who could match the presence of a partner. Whew. What do you think?

I think if you live alone you only have yourself to think about and dont have to ask or receive approval from anyone so therefore when in contact with other people then they have to take that persons point of view into the equasion and get a bit bad tempered when someone does not agree!
