My dog is at it again! He barked all night long..

my dad would give our dog peanut butter if he barked too much. the dog loved peanut butter,and it kept him quiet.

that is good that he is sleeping, but if you always take him out when he barks he will continue to bark because he knows you will take him out and dogs like to go out.

Well, I think that's a good sign, at least your dog is so sensitive to external foreign entities..ours is just the same. Everytime the three of them see other animals, we really would spend a night of sleeplessness until we drive that seen animal away.

You are probably having night visitors. There are a lot of critters out at night and your dog is just warning them away. Just make sure you stick your nose outside before you let your dog out so you know it's not a skunk. If you dog is a little dog I'd be real careful about letting him out at all a possum or raccoon can really hurt a dog.

hello moneymommy did your dog ever get to meet the new puppy on the block yet? maybe that was why that he insisted on barking again all night long. i would keep his little butt awake all day today, i wouldn't let him sleep a wink. lol then maybe tonight, he'll sleep all night long for ya. lol wouldn't that be great news? take care and have a beautiful day today!

May be there is some thing going in mind of your dog. May be he was in problem or he want to say something to you. Try to understand him.

Frost use to do that when he was younger since there are a number of dogs in the neighbor hood.

I bet he is sleeping. He probably wore himself out getting up all the time last night. I would be needing a nap too if I had to deal with that all night.

I feel for you! When my dog gets excited or nervous I go through the same thing. If its thundering, I have to sleep with him on the sofa so that he won't bark. It's exhausting, but I feel sorry for him.

My dog will start barking around 5 in the morning. I think it is because my dad is going to work and right when he walks out the door the dog starts barking like he might be upset but then usually will head back to sleep about an hour after so at least it's not all night long, but it does wake everyone else up in the house and usually i can't go back to sleep. He actually hasn't done it the past few days and i hope he doesn't go back to doing it again because its annoying and i need some sleep really bad.
