friendship - the time or the trust

From last few days i faced a totally different situation. on whose side you will be - the one who is your childhood friend or - the one who is your new friend and with whom you share more than your childhood friend what will you do?

I don't think you should take a side. If they are both your friends you would end up loosing one of them. Just make sure when you talk to either of them that you are honest and tell them you do not want to get involved and if they really are your friends they will respect that.

For me, I would have to roll with the new friend. I believe that that friend would more relate to who I am now. And friends from the past may change and become different people. Not to say that I can not be friends with someone from my CH, if me and that cat were really tight then I can see'em relating to who I am today. For me, a lot of my childhood friends faded away, changed, and eventually we stopped talking to each other. The other day I saw my dude at the store. Haven't seen'im for years, just said what's up and kept going.

Hi ahmedafaque,it is a tough situation you know.Friends will come in your life and as you grow up,you will make new friends as well.Your childhood friend must be very close to you as well.I think you do not need to choose one between them.Time will pass by and silently it will tell you whom to choose.Do not take the burden yourself.
