Did you ever regret not keeping a better photo or video log of your child?

Well as I was speaking with my little ones about how funny they were growing up, I was asked for proof of these acts. I had some photos and videos, however the amount that I had did not compare to all of the memories that I referred to. Thinking back, I should have captured everything. Sure I have some but clearly not enough. If only I could do it all over again.

I don't want to have to regret not having enough pictures of my son. He's three months old now and I take tons of pictures of him. I think I should probably take some more video though. I probably will once he's moving around on his own more and stuff. With digital photography and videos now it make it so much easier to have lots of pictures and videos of your children.

I have learned that there are NEVER too many photos. I have tons of photos, it's the videos that I really wish I had more of.

My mom has regrets about some of our childhood activities not being captured on film. I've got a DD that'll be 1 next month and I can't tell you how many discs of photos we have of her so far. We've got her baptism photos (about 6 discs of those) as well as other random stuff. My husband and I both have film cameras as well as digital cameras and we're not afraid to get photos of her in every situation. We have tons of photos of her outside playing or in the bath tub or messy after she's dumped spaghetti o's all over her head and started laughing. We don't want to miss a thing with her growing up. We may be idiots going to pick up $60 worth of photos of her in the bath tub and colored in purple and red Easter egg dye at my parents' house, but it's all worth it to us.
