Do you sometimes get tired of price comparison shopping/coupon use?

This is how I always shop and I buy in bulk, etc. But sometimes it is so time consuming. Like this morning I know I spent close to an hour shopping between two stores to find the best deals, scan the stuff for the Nielson panel I am with and put the stuff up. The best part is I shouldn't have to shop again for 2 weeks or more. But do you ever get tired of it?

Coupons - Saving money by using coupons
I do get tired of having to organize my shopping and coupons before I even head out of the house and then making sure you're getting the most band for you buck at the store. I keep doing it because of the crazy amount of money I've been able to save in the last 8 months of coupon shopping. When I can save an average of $500 a month and get lots of products I use everyday for free or nearly free then it spurs me on to keep on doing it.

This is how I feel sometimes and when I get that way, I just take a week or so off. I am a MAJOR coupon shopper and can spend hours at a time researching deals, clipping my coupons(10-25 papers a week) and getting everything lined up to go shopping. While it does take me some time, being a stay at home mom is more important to me than anything, so with me saving as much as I can, I can continue to stay at home with the kids. Like I said, just take a week or so off when you start to feel overwhelmed. I took this week off, except for shopping the double coupons at Kmart, which took little time, and 1 trip to Publix for free Starkist Seasations. I will never pass anything that is totally free though so if that is the only thing I have to go get, I will. I normally don't go out of my way though to pick it up, just stop by on the way home from something else. I also have a new blog that I post my trips in for others to see what they can save. http://supersaveramber.blogspot.com/ if you want to take a look. Its nothing special, but neat and I will be adding more this next week when I find the deals! I also do shoppershotline(kinda like neilson) too and it makes me a little extra cash every once in a while. It is nice! I just cashed out and recieved $25 the other day and that came in handy for the extra stuff I wanted that I just didn't have the money for this week.

I do get tired of it every now and then, but it is almost a necessity now. We have grown to used to having the deals and a great stocked pantry that we get for a small amount of cash. I always seem to get remotivated when things get extra tight again.

not really because i look at saving money and making money as an adventure! i like to save as much as i can all the time. i dont use a whole lot of coupons just because i find that most times, the store brand is cheaper but i only buy stuff other than groceries usually on sale or at thrift stores.

I agree. It does get tiring at times. Why can't one store just always have the best prices and have everything in stock that you need? Oh, I forgot, that would be a perfect world.

It can sometimes be hard work trying to get the best deal. I guess it is important to bear in mind why you are going to all the effort in the first place. At least lots of money is being saved and you don't need to go out for another couple of weeks to get anything!

Well, shoot, if you did two weeks worth of shopping at two different stores and was able to get the best prices for your efforts, then I say you did really well. Usually it takes me about 45 minutes at one store, to do one weeks worth of shopping, just trying to catch stuff on sale. That doesn't include my travel time or the time it'll take me to lug all my stuff into the house and put it away. Plus, you scan your stuff for the homescan thing? Give yourself a pat on the back!
