My little granddaughter is lactose intolerant! This is the best ice cream I have eaten in a long time plus it has the benefit of the lactose free...If you have a problem with being intolerant try this ice cream! It's the best. So have you tried it? Do you have a problem with being lactose intolerant?

I wish they would have had this about 11 years ago. My 12 year old son used to be lactose intolerant when he was a baby and until he was around 3 years old. I used to have to get Isomil formula instead of Similac and I had to buy Lactaid milk for him. Otherwise he would have bad stomach issues.
I am glad you found this for your little granddaughter! I do love Breyers ice cream so I can imagine it is delicious.
Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

A friend of mine was telling me about it. I have a nephew that is lactose intolerant and I am going to get him some for his mom to try with him. I checked at a store today and they didn't carry it but as soon as I find it I want to try it. I hope he likes it!

The only things that I am allergic to is shell fish. I once had half of a crab cake - the first in 40 years and the body remembered. Violently ill all night and if I wasn't staying with a friend who was a doctor then I would have ended up in hospital. Our bodies are long memories! I don;t know of this kind of ice cream but I am so glad that it suits your GD and you. Blessings

I haven't tried this ice cream. When younger, I would eat so much ice cream but it never bothered me. As I get older, some dairy products give me trouble but not all the time. I'll have to remember to pass this information onto one of our kids who has problems off and on also. What flavor did you buy?

I havent tried it. Does that taste like a normal ice cream. If so i guess that one's really good. But since im not lactose intolerant it doesnt matter to me if the ice cream is lactose free on not.

Thank you so much for letting us know - didn't think there was such a thing. I was just telling my husband tonight that my little one must've inherited our intolerance because we both got upset tummies right after icecream. He's half asian, wonder if they are prone to it like the native americans?
I remember liking that ice cream. There was a neighbor I used to visit, an elderly woman when I was a kid who used to giv me Breyers Vanilla, so its all tied up with ome happy memories.

She became lactose intolerant after having the flu....she was born normal...but for six weeks after she was sick and they kept going to the doctor...well finally one night my son took her 50 miles away to the emergency room at Mayo Clinic.....they told them in two hours what was wrong!!! But she loves ice cream and she really loves this!
