When you generate TRAFFIC you also Generate MONEY?

I can't still figure out why causing traffic tour site brings in money. Like here in myLot , they are paying members that post a lot of tags and manage to discuss all the things under the sun. Is it ALL BECAUSE of advertisers?

According to my knowledge, traffic simply mean the traffic of your website! It is the number of visitors that your website gets. To increase Traffic to your site means to increase the visitors to your site. Traffic is the most important thing a webmaster need to do after he finishes designing his website.

its like a store. the more customers in the store, the more likely you are going to sell something.

Yes. Traffic can make good money. Like for example you have products that you're selling, if there's traffic there's a possibility that it will be bought. It's the same as a local store in your neighborhood, if there is no customer, there's no sales.
