I am now 35 and it seems to be going down hill. My family and friends have said, you know the old saying "It all goes down hill at 30" but does it really? I couldn't gain weight to save my life and could eat like a horse but now, the less I eat the more I gain. I have gained 35 pounds and it won't go away. Sure I have gained a decent rack that my husband loves but I am not use to this. I have hair growing in places it doens't belong, I look tired all the time anymore. Is it just me or is it true? Help me out, please!

I don't believe in this saying. I believe that life is what we make it. If you feel like you are going down the hill because you're 35 now, then that is what's going to jappen to you. Maybe what you need is a change in lifestyle. Most of the time, what we do is be complacent. That wouldn't help us. I think it is time for you to pick up a new hobby or start something new. You have been too used to the everyday routines in your life that you feel like there is nothing happening anymore. Since it is spring time, why not start a little garden that you could tend to. It doesn't have to be a big project, just small ones would do. If you are concern about your weight, then start walking around the neighborhood in the morning or in the afternoon after work. The reason we put on weight is not because of what we eat but because we don't use the things that we eat. We eat food to give our body energy but if we are not going to use that energy, then it's going to stack up in our body thus making us fat in the end. Doing something a little different each day would make a difference. Like instead of driving to work on your usual route, try a different one. You'll see something different and you'll notice something that you haven't notice before. Just look at your life in a different angle and you would notice that there is more to do in life even if you're already 35.

I will try it. I have 6 kids and as they get older and getting into more school activities they seem to consume my life more and more. I am trying to cherish every moment of it since they seem to be growing up so fast but I have stopped doing anything for myself. It is all about the kids. Thanks for the advise. My husband said he would start walking in the evenings with me and my kids and I just started a small garden the other day. I look forward to doing that with them.

Those are simple things that could change the way you look at your life. It is really on how you look at life. You are doing positive new things now and try to enjoy every moment of it.

I don't have hair growing everywhere, but it seems like I have gone down hill since 50 years old. YUCK!!! I am going through menopause, I got hurt on the job with my rotary cuff. I have been diagnosed with high blood pressure. And now I have also gained weight too. I thought my weight I gained is because I have not been able to do too much because of my shoulder and the pain.

I don't have hair growing everywhere but just more of it than I ever did before. Menopause seems to start early for all the women in my family and that is definatly something I worry about. My kids stress me enough I can't imagine adding that on top of all the crazyness that goes on around here.

Well if it goes down hill at 40 then I'm doomed. Thanks for trying to make me feel better though.

With age, physical degradation of the various functions is very normal, slow metabolism and lead to weight gain. You can try doing yoga, it really is a very good aerobic exercise can help keep you young, with Wyatt of food to eat, you can make to keep your mind young, dynamic, natural and you will look younger the.

I was always told even by doctors that I had a high metabolism but I think I have none anymore. I have been thinking about yoga. I have always worked for myself but recently got a job working for a body shop. I really don't know anyone so I thought it might be fun and a way to meet others.
