Going back to school at 35 - online or in class?

Have any of you went back to further your education after 30? I have been thinking about it. I never went to college and my only fear is, I hated going to high school. The thought of paying to go to school sounded crazy to me but now I find myself wanting to learn more. What would you recommend, online classes or in school on campus?

I would say it depends on what school your would go to, I am a lot older than 30 and I'm going to college now. I go at night and most of the people that are going are in their late 20's and much higher. It's never to late to go back to school. Don't let your fear of being an "old maid" from furthering your education. I would say to go to the college because you will be able to learn more from students and the teachers.

I want to thank you for your respons. I am still looking into them. I havn't decided on exactly wich one but want to get everything lined up for the next school year. I would love to start now but with summer coming and kids out of school, I am afraid I would fail miserable.

If i were you, i would choose online class. Why? Yeah we know everyone have same opportunity to get high education. But for me my self, i think 30 years old is too old to go campuss. So i prefer online classes. Sorry it is my opinion, you can have different opinion of course. Happy mylotting

Ya, I agree with you. I would feel like the old made if I went to campus. The motherly figure if you know what I mean.

I am glad you brought this subject up. I have also been thinking of going to school. I think on line would be better for me becouse I work full time and have three children. Now if you have free time you should go if for nothing else to get out of the house. I would like to read the responses and see what other people think.

I work part time but have 6 kids. I don't think I have time to drive to school around my kids schedual and my husband. I think online is better for me to but I have 1 friend in school right now, much younger than me, and she says to go to school and not take online classes. She thinks it is more rewarding going there but she is 22, single, no kids. I don't think she has a clue!
