Toilet is the the best place for thinking lol....

By the topic I hope you are clear that what I mean to discuss about. Well our mind is really restless and it don't like to sit idle. While in the toilet, we can do out work hehe...but also can simultaneously think, think, think about anything, also the serious things...There is no time that I am in the toilet and thinking nothing. If thinking nothing, I think that is sleeping hehe... My friend even use to say that toilet is the best place for creativity. And he writes poems too... Don't you agree with this...

It seems true. But usually I will get inspiration when I am having a shower because I won't take long time in the toilet:) And besides the bathroom, I also think that lying on the bed will give you many creative ideas. I love China

Well actually, I do agree with you. I've solved the most puzzling of problems that I face during work while sitting and thinking! In fact...I confess that sometimes sitting longer thinking even after you're done just to figure out a solution to a problem...can happen *blush*. But hey! If it works out, who's gonna ask you where you got it!? :P If they do, tell them the truth! IT's high time that the world starts taking Toilet-Thinkers more seriously!!! YAARRGGHHH!!!! Okay I'm done! :D

I am one of those people that likes to get in and get out but my husband on the other hand that is his "cave" as we call it. That is like his favorite hide out. He writes his own music and he does some of his best work in there, I think it is because it is so quiet. He will take his music player in there and be in there for hours at time. I can't sit on the toilet of that long..my legs and butt start to go numb LOL. I do believe at least in my husbands situation that it is very true that you can get that most creativity in there, and I believe it has to do with the quietness because who wants to bother some one while they are on the pot?

Hehe froggieslover hello!!! You gave me really funny answer and I started laughing alone with your response hehe..So don't you have problem. Doesn't it happen that you want to go to toilet and your husband is there till hours hehe and you would be shouting like, "Hey dear, what are you doing there for so long time. I need to ahh my stomach.." lol hehe...Don't mind. Hehe, don't let your legs and butt go numb... Another funny thing, who bothers you while you are on the pot hehe...Really funny remark... hello again froggieslover!!! Good to hear that your problem is solved. We have two toilets here, but because of the so many family members and people from the rent, sometimes I get the problem and have to wait too hehe... What will your husbans say, if he saw this post hehe...You are calling him living in the cage lol.... Happy mylotting...Keep posting...

Thanks for the best response :) The house we are in now has two bathrooms and it is so great. We used to have only one bathroom and it was so rough like you mentioned, I was always kicking him out of there. Now I think my husband spends even more time in his "cave" because now he doesn't get interrupted as much!!!

At night, when i lay down, I read the bible, then my mind tends to wonder with all sorts of thoughts, I am wondering how to get down all of those ideas, especially when i am half way asleep and awake. What do you think?

My teacher once told me that the toilet is the best place to learn and memorize stuff, especially concepts in maths. I dont really know if he was right or wrong as I did not try it. When your sitting on the toilet your totally out of any stress, so I guess thinking happens bettter there. ususally when your in the toilet ur mind just goes places thinking about something without you even being aware.

Hello Mac6999!!! Yeah I agree with you. Yes like you said usually when I am in the toilet then I am thinking something that is totally being unaware. But like your teacher said, I have to memorize my chapter a lot during the exam times. So I read a lesson before going to toilet and then I would revise them at the toilet hehe. And yes even thinking on mathematical problems. I remember thinking myself a lot to get an idea to solve the programming and it has helped to me get ideas too hehe..... When person seat or stay alone, he/she thinks more. So when we seat alone (lol) in toilet we think more in that situation, otherwise what can you do besides thinking? LOL

HAHA, my friend used to say that to me. I find it unbelievable because the toilet....IS A TOILET. I mean, you go there to the your 'business' not to do your 'work'. Maybe while you're at it, doing your 'business' maybe you might be daydreaming, thinking about stuff and from there you get some ideas...But i don't like actually do work there, to bring papers and pens with me along...That's just so funny. But well, most of the time i get my inspiration while showering, since it's a longer period of time. Who knew the toilet could be such a 'resourceful' place..lol ^_^

Hello Mira81!!! Well this is very true. There is nothing unbelievable. When you have nothing in your mind, you probably may be daydreaming. But if you have really important to be thought then you won't stop thinking even in the toilet about that thing. May be you can get the great ideas that moment hehe...I too don't take any pens, papers. But sure I take my mind there with me hehe...Even a short period of time, but I think it is really helpful time for thinking hehe...Yeah I too think too much while showering and due to this I wont realize how long I had been showering for hehe... I do have a tendancy to sort of "mentally wander off" when I am on the toilet.. I think it can be the one place we get some time and place truely to ourselves and as such it can be nice to have a think. I often like to read things when i am on the toilet though! I find it relaxing!

Hello LivingFire!!! Nice to have to again in the discussion. Yes the general tendency is mentally wander off in my case too. But sometimes, when I have really something to think then I continue to think in the toilet too lol, the save of time hehe. Yeah I don't recognize that I am already done and am already for the long time in hehe.... Again I have to say you are more advanced than just thinking. You are reading in the toilet hehe. I feel very uncomfortable to read while...so I don't do that. But what I do that is revise the lesson mentally if its exam time. This I do it always. Before going to toilet, I try to read a topic and then go to toilet to revise and think on it hehe..... Thanks for the response and happy mylotting...
