I'm disturbed and angry

hi fellows. I am very much upset with the situations we are encountering in our country in the hospitals. We belong in a third world country where most of the people are poor and cannot afford to go to private hospitals because they are expensive.. What I don't like is that, doctors and nurses in public hospitals are not accommodating.. If they see that the person or the family of the patient are poor, they don't care much about the patient.. even in the emergency room.. I really hate those people.. they just want to serve the rich ones.. I thought they have vowed to give proper medical attention to anybody despite of their situation in life.. they are very selective.. they don't deserve to be staying in the hospital since they are not practicing what they have promised when they take their vows.

It is sad to have to witness. My boyfriend once told me that we are worse as far as our hospitals than a lot of these countries that are supposed to be worse off than we are. To get proper care in a hospital here in the us, you have to have some kind of insurance and most of us cant afford insurance. We are struggling to provide for the necessities in life, that insurance has fell to the bottom of that list, matter of fact, it has moved to the "if I ever hae enough money" list. And now, here where I live, if you go to the hospital, they are asking for a deposit when you leave of $150, who carries that much cash when they are on thier way to the emergency room? Hospitals have lostthier minds, souls, compassion.

..oh.. that's very sad to know.. I thought only the third world countries are experiencing such situation.. I wish we could do something about that.. How could we ever survive if this is always the scenario..

The fact that you see has become a regular event for me. I say like that, because I also live in developing countries. I'm sure you already know the certainty of Indonesia. Maybe you heard that Indonesia is one of the most corrupt country in the world. As a result, public services, including medical services in the hospital for poor people is very bad. The problem is that as often happens in a hospital owned by the government. In fact, every year the government has issued a big enough budget to subsidize the poor people, including to medical services for them. Many people feel confident, that the cause of all that is corrupt behavior of state officials. Medical services that sould be feasible for everyone, including the poor people.

I am sorry to hear that poor are not getting good treatment. I wish doctors and nurses do better in the hospital and give proper medical attention to people and give them better things. I think doctors are supposed to do better things and they should try to help people rather than trying to get rich.

It's really very sad to here about such a bad situation.But i think it's your right to fight against that situation.As that is meant for public use then veryone should be treated in the same manner only.I hope your problem will get solved very soon.
