The prestige is a movie with an ensemble cast of christian bale, hugh jackman, micheal caine, scarlett johansson. I dont remember any movie with so many flashback sequences but the performances from most of the characters is worth watching and it is easily my favourite movie on magic. Have you seen the movie...what do you think of it?

Yes, I don't know the cast of this movie but I enjoyed it very much. For first I saw it without sub titles and couldn't understand the total movie but the second time I saw it with subtitles on and am glad that I could understand the whole story. The motive of the movie was to show that how devoted the magicians were in our ancient time. the tricks which have been shown were very good too, weren't they? specially the old magician trick who used to make a fishtank appear from no where!

This is a strange film for me as I really enjoy it and find that even though all the flashbacks can be seriously confusing it is a seriously intriguing movie with good performances from all the main cast especially Michael Caine. But I did feel disappointed as it pushed the boundaries of the film to far when the prestige was finally revealed. It took it out of being a film which operated within the boundaries of magic/ illussion and gave it an element of fantasy bordering on science fiction.

Better than Illusionist? Oh, I completely agree that it was so much better than The Illusionist. I liked both movies a lot, but I thought The Prestige was amazing, whereas The Illusionist was just very good. It's interesting how both movies came out right at the same time. One of my favorite parts was David Bowie (one of my favorite musicians) playing Nikolai Tesla (one of my favorite inventors). That was brilliant casting!

Hi there, I have watched that movie about 3 years ago because I like watching tricks or magic. I find the movie very quite well and Hugh Jackman has a very good and challenging role on that movie. I hope that I can buy a dvd of that so I can watch it again.

I haven't seen this movie so I couldn't tell you anything about it. I don't go to the theatre that much. Maybe I'll go about once in a blue moon when something worth watching is going to be on. Because my money is so tight, I can't afford to rent any movies these days, either. I have dish network and if I should see it on encore drama or hatever, I'll let you know what I think about it. That may be a while, though. Who knows? Kathy.
