Whats the most romantic and memorable words that your partner have ever said/whispered to you? Mine are 1) Where were you all these while? 2) Now i know why people do not want to get married again after their spouse passed away, cos it's hard to find someone to replace that person ever. 3) As long as I'm you, my concern is your happiness. I want you to be happy forever. 4) I love you for being you. I dont care that you are fat and ugly now or in the future, I love you for who you are! these are some of the nice things that my bf have said to me.

I wanted to add that this was after we had been together for 8 years, married for 5 and had a two-year-old son. For him trusting is a BIG issue because he had been hurt so much before. Those three words meant that he trusted me COMPLETELY. It was an amazing feeling.

I dont know im not a very romantic person, and i think if a guy said number four (4) I love you for being you. I dont care that you are fat and ugly now or in the future, I love you for who you are!) to me, i might become a really girly girl and start getting upset saying "You think im fat ? And Ugly?..then why are you with me????" lol but thats just me ... i think one of the coolest thigs said to me was, when my ex, stared wide eyed at me, in a complete haze and just muttered.. "God, i love you, your so cool" and i thought that was the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me..

lol! you are right. that's why my bf will be very tactful with me when it comes to compliments. i was concern over the fact that i gained weight since falling in love with him and that's what he kept on reassuring me. well, i dont mind if he think im fat and ugly, cos i know im not (hehe) and he kept telling me that im beautiful anyway. (he's scared of competitors!!!) Thanks for sharing.

lol. there are some men who are like that, or at least my ex-bf. It's so annoying, cos you know how women love to hear these things...but it's ok, as long as you know he loves you from the bottom of his heart! Thanks for your response

I actually got pregnant only about a month after my now husband and i moved in together (we had been together for 2 years and friends before that) and with us already adjusting to this i was so scared to tell him i thought he might leave or at the least i thought it would take him a long time to get used to it. when i worked up the courage to tell him he didnt say to much and then he said he had to go out for a few minutes and i thought oh great here we go pregnant and alone and lost the love of my life, he came back about an hour later with flowers, some baby bibs and bottles (with his favorite sports team on them of course) and a card, in the card he said you are going to be a wonderful mother and im so glad we are starting this new journey towards parenthood, there is no one else id rather be doing it with. This sums up my husband, if i try to have a conversation with him that involve feelings or emotions he does tend to clam up, but over time ive come to find he always responds he just doesnt do it my way, sometimes after this happens ill find a poem in the middle of a notebook he knows i use all the time. this is the thing with men they dont always know how to have those conversations but if you give them a little space about it instead of nagging and complaining that they dont talk things out enough they will usually come up with another way to show you how there feeling because they do want you to know its just in general men arent as verbal as women (i know this is a generalization of sorts so all you men who happily talk it out with your wife good for you and those who dont try to come up with your own special way to let her know you care)

thank you so much and im glad you liked my response, hopefully some people in not so great relationships will see this as well and realize there is somebody great out there for you if you keep looking because everyone deserves a partner like this, being able to respond to questions like these helps me too because while we have a great relationship we certainly arent perfect and do have our disagreements and this gave me a good chance to remember what a great person i am with even if we have problems sometimes, because this made me remember what he wrote for me i went straight home after work and gave my husband a big kiss and told him how lucky i was to be with him (i write a lot at work, im a night auditor at a hotel 11pm to 7am and after my audit and cleaning is done my boss lets up use the computer or tv to pass the time)

My boyfriend has a problem receiving compliments! If I ever compliment him on ANYthing, he'll just say "Lies" and avoid the subject. So I told him he'd better reply accept my compliment right, so the next time I told him something nice, he said "I know, I'm awesome aren't I?" xD A lot of the things he says to me are special to me because of the way or time he says them at. "I love you" is always the best lol. We're far from each other, so the other day I took a random picture and sent it to him, and he said "You're so beautiful" and it just made my heart jump. There were better ones but my brain's not functioning right now.

During my wedding ceremony my husband had requested that he be able to say something from the heart and it melted everyone's heart. He had told me that since we had first met he had loved me and that even though we'll have our ups and downs in our marriage he would never stop loving me. I don't know if it's simply his words or the love shining in his eyes as he had told me this that got to me but I will never forget it.
