Just note one more thing about WIFE is that Wife Is Wonderful Instrument For Enjoy. But if you unable to enjoy then you are in problem.

Neeraj, srganesh is right. This is to taken with a smile. A woman is not a toy to enjoy when the whim takes you. She is your better half, and takes care of the home and family and work with equal ease. I get the impression you are not happy with your wife, but then one does not have to see somebody to judge. Your writings say it all.

No bhanu, these quotes are to be taken lightly wiht a pinch of salt. All marriages have their ups and downs. Men brag about it, women take it with dignity. People live with each other because they want to, not because they have become habituated. They want someone upon whom to lean upon, to share their joys and sorrows. These quotes may have been written in jest, or by people who are unhappy with their marriages. We must laugh them out.

I assume the people who came up with these quotes did not have a happy married life. Or they did not have good wives. And instead of resolving the matter they came with quotes which gave hints about their own life and their wife.
The same goes for women and their husband.
It feels pleasant when I see people who are happily married for 40-50 years or so.

I totally agree with you. these are people with a low threashold of tolerance and may not have been happy with their wives. if given a chance, we women can come up with better quotes about husbands, but we live with dignity and dont wash our dirty linen in public. We are genteel and have a sense of respect and dignity. thanks.

This really depict how men see their wives,some of are true and some are not.It boggles my mind why men say these things about their wives and still continue to love them.Well,life is really full of surprises and nothing is permanent but change.
Wish I can find something like this but coming from the wives side.LOL!

Im totally with you on this point angel, I think we women can come up with better quotes, only we remain dignified in our stand against husbands. We prefer to respect our privacy. Yes, men talk big, but cant do without their wives. Who would then pamper their egos ??? Thanks.

I think Socrates was kidding when he stated that LOL According to my philo professor when I was in college, Socrates was one of the early people who actually respected women long before women were even treated as "people" (the Greeks thought of women as simply "vessels" whereas men are the only "real" people). Socrates on the other hand, valued the opinion of his wife and treated her fairly... which got me thinking. Maybe it was because his wife made him realize that she WAS worthy of respect which started him on his course to philosophy LOL it's a never ending cycle of ideas.

I suppose you are right. He was a philosopher and you just dont become that until you respect the ideas of others. Maybe he wrote when he was mad at his wife, and then repented it. haha. Well, it takes all sorts to make the world. Thank you ever so much for always being there for me.

Oh yes, to me it makes no difference. We women too enjoy them equally and take it with a pinch of salt. Im just glad you enjoy my discussions.
Now tell me, he visits the temple for peace and quiet or to ask God to help get rid of her. haha. I could kill you guys for thinking like that about us. lol
